The Parkinson's SA community look forward to A Walk in the Park every year. The day is for friends, familiy and supporters of people living with Parkinson's to come and show their support. The day also raises much needed donations that ensure that Parkinson's SA can continue to offer vital support, counselling, seminar, recreational and support group.

When: Sunday 27 August, from 9am-12.30pm (we walk rain, hail or shine)

Where: Bonython Park, near the kiosk. The 2km or 4km walk around the scenic Torrens is mobility-friendly and volunteers are also along the track to assist.

There are also chairs, tables and umbrellas for your comfort and a large marquee area.

Parking: Free parking is available near the picnic area, in the carpark off Port Road, and near the Old Gaol. Some areas are restricted to 4 hours, but that should allow plenty of time to participate in the Walk.

What's on: Bacon and egg roll BBQ breakfast, coffee stand, facepainting, cupcake stand, massages and a sausage sizzle for lunch.
